Terms and Privacy

These terms cover SUDOKU, an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac published by Darkmatter, Sri Lanka. By using the app you agree to them.

1 · Terms of use

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial play. Puzzles come from the public-domain Sudoku Exchange Puzzle Bank. The app's design, code and name belong to Darkmatter.

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Darkmatter's liability for any loss arising from your use of the app is limited.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to your use of the app.

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

2 · Tokens and purchases

Tokens are an in-app balance used for extra lives and SOLVE. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred to anyone else, and are not refundable by us.

Purchases are processed by Apple under the App Store terms. If you want a refund, request it from Apple.

3 · Advertising

Free players may see ads served by Google AdMob:

• A rewarded video you choose to watch, in return for one extra life.
• An occasional interstitial ad between games.

Sometimes our own "go ad-free" screen appears instead of a video.

4 · Privacy policy

What stays on your device

Your games, settings, history and statistics are stored only on your device, and in your own iCloud backups if you use them. We have no accounts and no servers of our own. We do not sell your data.

Advertising data

Ads are provided by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and the Google User Messaging Platform. To serve, limit the frequency of, and measure ads, Google may collect:

• Device identifiers (the advertising ID, IDFA, only if you give permission).
• Your IP address and a coarse location derived from it.
• Data about how you interact with ads.

Where the law requires it, such as in the EEA and UK, a consent form is shown before ads load. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in Google's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Your choices

• Delete the app to remove the data stored on your device.
• Change your ad consent from your device's settings or the consent form.
• Contact us with any question about your data.
